HOD HASHARON, Israel - Feb. 16, 2020 - PRLog -- But with all that investment in tech, do we have the information we really need?

• Are we sure this investment will improve sales,
• Is this an improvement to the consumer experience? Do my shoppers really need this?
• What is the "special sauce" that compels my customers to hit the "Place Order" or "Pay" button.

Let's review the most recent stats about cart abandonment, in descending order:

Top 4:
• Unexpected costs were tabulated at the end of the ordering process. (including shipping, taxes, and other fees)
• The site forced me to create an account.
• The checkout process was long and complicated.
• I didn't trust the site

Ladingo removes this barrier to sales by presenting the shipping rate and the beginning and guaranteeing it at the checkout, removing the fear and uncertainty from the buyer's equation

Problem: The site wanted me to create an account
Solution: Checkout as a guest or social login

You should always give your customers the ability to checkout as a guest. If you must collect emails, do it via a social login -  those tools are usually free and make it smoother on all sides.

Problem: A long and complicated checkout process
Solution: Follow the experts and keep it simple and quick

Summarize all of the purchases and include the delivery time. Make sure your customers have the ability to remove or go back to the shop without losing the cart.

Aliexpress and Amazon make this process virtually pain-free.. You do not need to re-add a card or address - they keep the information so it's simple.

Don't disappoint your shoppers. The last thing you want to tell your buyers is that they can't buy what they want when they are ready to checkout. This is what happens everyday to international visitors if they don't know that you don't sell abroad. Let them know where and what you do ship at the beginning or give them an easy way to find out.

If you can, provide worldwide shipping and never lose a customer. Being international is what makes Amazon and Alibaba so huge.

Problem: I didn't trust the site
Solution: Use reviews to increase your credibility and trustworthiness
