Former COO and CEO of the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute at the Ohio State University giving back to those following in his foot (mis) steps
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Feb. 12, 2020 - PRLog -- Healthcare administrators and executives experiencing high levels of stress, strained relationships, and who struggle with maintaining resilience because of the 24/7 "demands of the job" have access to a new resource focused on adding more balance, harmony, and integration into their professional and personal lives.

The Transformational Executive Experience (http://www.transformationalexecutive.com/) is a day-long in-person, interactive program dedicated to helping healthcare administrators and executives find pathways to a healthier professional and personal life. The program is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2020, at Brick House Blue, 6605 Longshore St., Dublin, Ohio (within the new Bridge Park development).

"Thinking your job as a healthcare leader is a badge of honor is a myth," says Dennis Smith, former COO and CEO of the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute at the Ohio State University, and Co-Founder of the program. "Executives will walk away with a better mindset, and tools and resources that will help them be a respected healthcare leader and maintain their resilience."

The program agenda includes Smith sharing his personal challenges with resilience, and how a misguided sense of responsibility and an out-of-check ego impacted his family, health, and work. It also includes sessions on emotional intelligence led by award-winning bilingual talent leader, author, and international speaker, Dr. Pat Baxter.

Throughout the day participants will experience reflection time and the sharing of ideas with peers in an open and confidential environment to further their learning and understanding on how they can be more purposeful and intentional in their professional success and personal satisfaction.

The cost of the program is $3,100 and includes program materials, breakfast and lunch. Free parking is available at the Mooney Parking Garage located across from Brick House Blue.
