2020 Brings New Amenities and Renovations to Sandyside Senior Living

WHITE LAKE, Mich. - Feb. 6, 2020 - PRLog -- Sandyside Senior Living experienced unprecedented growth in 2019. In a recent conversation with Timothy Nye, Co-Owner of Sandyside Senior Living, Dan Woods of Vincent James Marketing discussed the ongoing renovations to the facility. "Throughout 2019, we were able to add an enclosed patio, outdoor pavilion, and new residents rooms among other various building projects." said Nye. "We plan on continuing renovations into 2020. Our staff and residents alike are looking forward to additional roll-in-showers as well as remodeled bathrooms and resident rooms."

The goal of the recent additions was to offer an additional benefit to all residents, but the enclosed patio is especially important for those at Sandyside seeking Memory Care. Memory Care is a specialized type of assisted living focused on memory-related illness. With several Sandyside residents currently diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's, an enclosed patio provides more freedom within the facility, while still maintaining a climate-controlled environment that is safe from wandering.

"We are hoping to have photos of the changes available soon," Nye told Woods, "But until then, the public is welcome to schedule a tour to view the entire facility and learn more about the work we do here." Nye assured Woods that the growth at Sandyside Senior Living would not be slowing down in 2020, adding that the owners are considering adding even more rooms and possibly a second facility in the near future.
