By: Mending Kids International
To date, 65 countries have been served, 133 surgical mission trips completed, and as of January 2020, 4450 children have been mended by devoted individuals such as Dr. Lia Jacobson, Lila Rodriguez, Dr. David Ferry and Dr. Timothy Casarez, this year's honorees who will be granted the Hope, Love, and Mend awards for their outstanding achievements. The event will be sponsored by Kazmac Music Production and hosted by Dana Powell, of Modern Family and chaired by Dorothy Lucey.
Donor contributions from the event will go toward funding their core life-saving programs: Hometown Mission, Mend US, Overseas Surgical Mission, and Individual Surgical Care where volunteer surgical teams correct acute conditions such as, congenital heart, colorectal malformations, plastic and burns, orthopedic abnormalities, and severe scoliosis. The Imagine Gala will help bridge the gap to bring access for critical surgical care for children in the US, and around the world.
"Every opportunity we have to meet new friends and share our mission to provide free surgeries to deserving children is an opportunity to save a life. Mending Kids Imagine Gala will determine how many hundreds of futures we can restore in 2020." - Isabelle Fox, Executive Director of Mending Kids.
