LAS VEGAS - Feb. 5, 2020 - PRLog -- Charles Akeem "CJ" Watson Jr. formerly played in the NBA for over 10 years. He is a Las Vegas native and will be honoring 6 student winners at the Quiet Storm Foundation's Student Oratorical Luncheon.

Background: For eleven years, QSF has provided education, health/wellness, and leadership programs to young people of Las Vegas and Clark County communities. Quiet Storm could not continue to organize programs (such as the Essay Contest, which has a positive impact on our area youth), without the ongoing support of local community champions and partners like you.

Academics: In an effort to give back to students, Quiet Storm Foundation continues to seek opportunities for students to advance their academic skills. In educational settings students utilize these skills, such as writing, public speaking, peer-to-peer communication, which plays a major role in their academic development.

Essay Writing Topic:

How would you explain cultural diversity and how it effects the world. Why is it important? Who is the person you feel most embodies the ideals of cultural diversity? ( Example: Astronauts doctors, actors, inventors) What would you learn from them to spread diversity in your community?
