Acts 4 Ministry Fundraiser Dinner Event March 12 At Ponte Club In Waterbury

WATERBURY, Conn. - Jan. 29, 2020 - PRLog -- A dinner to raise funds for Acts 4 Ministry, Inc., the non-denominational charity serving the Greater Waterbury the region, will be held by the Pontelandolfo Community Club, well known as the Ponte Club, at La Bella Vista Banquet Facility on Thursday, March 12 beginning at 6:30 PM.

Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. is a charitable organization that assists individuals and families who have suddenly lost their homes to a fire, flood or other unexpected devastation or upsetting life event. These individuals and families are invited to Acts 4 Ministry's 1713 Thomaston Avenue boutique shop to select, at no charge, clothing, dishes, glassware, furnishings, and items to meet other basic needs. The organization builds relationships with people while providing them with the basics of daily living needs.

Ponte Club Secretary Nick Perugini added, "The Ponte Club has held monthly dinners for 30+ years and has supported multiple organizations in the area. The Club's leadership has decided to expand the field of organizations to which we provide support. Our mission is to help the people that are helping people in the community. Acts 4 Ministry is the exact type of organization that fulfills our mission in running these fundraisers and ultimately helping the people with basic needs and issues."

The March 12^th fundraiser dinner will begin with hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, followed by the service of a family-style dinner beginning with pasta Fagioli, followed by pasta with meatballs and soffritto, and the final serving will be Chicken Parmesan accompanied by oven-roasted potatoes and a fresh salad. Red wine will be served at each table.

The doors of La Bella Vista, located at 380 Farmwood Road in Waterbury, will open at 6:00 p.m. for the cash bar with hot and cold hors d'oeuvres beginning at 6:30 p.m. and dinner to follow.

The cost for the fundraiser dinner is $30/person, a portion of which will go directly to raise funds for Acts 4 Ministry.
