Readiness Associates CEO chosen for Maine Center for Entrepreneurs' prestigious 'Top Gun' program

PORTLAND, Maine - Jan. 28, 2020 - PRLog -- Michael Boardman, founder and CEO of Readiness Associates, a local consulting firm that helps clients prepare for and recover from natural and man-made disasters, has been chosen to participate in the prestigious "2020 Top Gun Program" run by the Maine Center for Entrepreneurs (MCE).

A total of 44 entrepreneurs were chosen for the program, whose competitive process included a written application and an interview with Top Gun program regional coordinators and their panelist groups.

"The Top Gun program helps entrepreneurs grow their businesses and succeed," according to an MCE news release. "MCE does this through business partnerships and sponsorships that support a 15-week program of hands-on mentoring and weekly meetings.

"The Top Gun program assists entrepreneurs in successfully growing their businesses through a combination of structured classroom curriculum and in-depth mentoring. The program culminates in a final Top Gun Showcase event in May, featuring finalists selected from six regional pitch-off events. The Showcase winner will receive a $25,000 cash prize sponsored by the Maine Technology Institute."

Boardman said that his selection for the Top Gun program marked an important milestone in the growth and development of Readiness Associates.

Boardman founded Readiness Associates based on his many years of experience with American Red Cross. He also previously founded and served as CEO of a full-service marketing, advertising and PR agency delivering marketing and sales solutions to high-tech companies, including Oracle, Silicon Graphics, Netscape, Legato and Kabria.
