Flagler County Clerk Announces Public Valentine's Day Marriage Ceremony

PALM COAST, Fla. - Jan. 22, 2020 - PRLog -- Tom Bexley, Flagler County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, is pleased to announce the third of what has become an annual event to celebrate Valentine's Day. Couples that want to get married, or renew their vows, are invited to sign up to be married outside on the steps of the Flagler County Justice Center located at 1769 East Moody Blvd, Building #1 in Bunnell, Florida at 12:00 p.m. on February 14^th, 2020. The ceremony is limited to the first 25 couples who apply.

"This is the third of what has become an annual event. Last year's ceremony was a memorable occasion that was special for us as well as participants. We hope the community will look forward to celebrating this event with us," Clerk Bexley said. "We are always thankful to the couples who allow us to participate in their day, and if last year's event is any indication, this one will be equally as special," Bexley added.

The planned event will consist of a single ceremony that will unite all participating couples in attendance and will be performed by Clerk Bexley himself. The couples and their guests will celebrate with refreshments provided at the end of the ceremony. Newlyweds and couples renewing their vows are encouraged to apply.

Mr. Bexley has waived the normal $30.00 ceremony fee; however, standard license fees of $86.00 will still apply. To participate, couples must sign-up and complete their application for marriage license prior to February 11th, 2020.

Couples will receive a special Certificate of Marriage commemorating the special day.
