ADELAIDE, Australia - Jan. 23, 2020 - PRLog -- Danica Hera from Australia auditioned for Atlantic Records, this is remarkable considering that its virtually impossible to find yourself in front of record executives auditioning for a recording contract. She did it for several reasons, first and foremost her family. Starting with her talented and protective 10 year old son who is quite the basketball players, her mum and lastly to honor her dad who passed in 2016. She has made it her mission to highlight mental illness to help others as another way to honor her dad.

Danica brings a breath of fresh air to the music business with her beautiful voice and eclectic tones. It also helps having a super connected record executive and talent scout who has sold millions of records. That would be Leon Derrick Youngblood SR, who just went platinum with Chris Brown's album INDIGO, he was a writer on the song  "Troubled Waters".

Danica's journey was not easy, Danica's parents separated when she was just 18 months old. She was always supported by her mum, although her mum was skeptical at times she remained supportive. Danica  wasn't close to her father in the beginning but she heard stories about him being a recording artist who had jingles and songs on the radio. It wasn't until her dad died in 2016, that she took music seriously and wanted to honor her father and bring light to his mental health issues.

She dove headfirst into her music and started establishing relationships with producers in New Zealand and in the states. She also purchased equipment and learned how to produce, record, mix and master her music.

What is remarkable is how she was discovered, Danica was selected after a year long search of thousands of female singers, we were looking for someone who could complete the record that was spawned from a project started by MIC.COM and "We Are The Movement" which was promoted by Bono, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, and 19 of the biggest artist in the world, that project was called "23 Ways To Die While Being Black In America".

The video has nearly a quarter of a billion views, but it didn't have a song. That void was filled by genius songwriter Rodney Burns who wrote the song "Sour Grapes" and was intuitive enough to surmise that the project was not complete without a song to address these issues in America.

Danica was selected instantly because of the passion she puts into her singing. She connected with recording artist GBEKE pronounced "Becky" who is also on the song  "Sour Grapes". It is remarkable what a girl from Australia can do by having faith, talent and trusting God.

"Danica Hera  is going to light up the world" quoted Youngblood SR. Her manager Alphonso from Maryland  is looking forward to all the wonderful situations that 2020 will bring for his artist Danica. Alphonso also manages rapper Queen Jazmell and R&B sensation Kim Scott who toured with BeyoncĂ©. Queen Jazmell will be recording a classic song with one of the greatest rappers of all time C L Smooth.
