Collins stated, "Many women do not realize that under the Constitution of the United States, we are still second class citizens. This is ridiculous in the 'land of the free and the home of the brave'."
Collins continued, "Here's a reality check, Economic Inequality is a DOMINO EFFECT. We here about women's gender wage gap $ .80 to men at $1.00 and even worse for women of color. But, do we really process what that means, and why it is important from the past to present to now?
Kiplinger, "among women ages 65 and up, the poverty rate remains nearly double that of men in the same age group. And, even though they will statistically live longer than men, many women are less likely to have planned or saved enough for retirement."
"All of these issues are because of the domino effect of Economic Inequality. In the last set of dominos, the automation and AI of entry-level jobs mainly held by women will expedite a collapse. What are we waiting for all the dominos to fall? ERA NOW!" explained Collins.
Collins questioned, "How can Jeff Van Drew look at the women in South Jersey and DELAY their RIGHTS preventing them from being PROTECTED?" Collins continued, "We need a leader that FIGHTS for Equal Rights, and I am that leader... BE FEARLESS."
Both Republican President Donald Trump and now Republican Rep. Jeff Van Drew plan to dazzle with smoke and mirrors at a rally on January 28th in Wildwood, New Jersey.
Potential Progressive Candidate Erica Collins plans to join the counter rally with Democratic Candidates NJ CD-2 coordinated by Amy Kennedy entitled "Serving South Jersey Not Donald Trump".
Also, Erica Collins plans to take her "LISTENING TO YOU" Tour to women's organizations in South Jersey.
