Businesses With Heart Expo Winter 2020

LAS VEGAS - Jan. 18, 2020 - PRLog -- Businesses with Heart is a networking and educational event designed to connect heart-centered business owners with one another and to help them increase their profits while standing for a cause and improving our community. The event will be held on January 30^th, 2020 at Hillpointe Events Center.

Businesses with Heart was created in 2015 by Sheryl Green, author of Do Good to Do Better: The Small Business Guide to Growing Your Business by Helping Nonprofits and Guy Dawson, Managing Member of Classy Communications, a PR/Marketing company. Dawson wanted to create an environment for his clients and friends to network with one another and Green suggested they include a philanthropic element to the event to benefit the community. As the Director of Communications and Cuddling for Hearts Alive Village Animal Rescue, Green chose the organization as the event's beneficiary and they raised approximately one thousand dollars for the nonprofit.

"It takes money to get your business seen. When you engage in cause marketing and collaborate with a nonprofit, you not only gain visibility but also become known as a business who cares about more than just making money," said Green.

Businesses with Heart will feature educational presentations by experts in the field of Cause Marketing, local businesses, networking opportunities, a live broadcast by PR Connections Radio, and a handful of local nonprofits. 10% of the proceeds from the event will benefit the CASA Foundation, a program that provides advocacy for children in the foster care system.

"The community can solve a lot of its own problems. So much can be done amongst the people when we all pull together and make it happen. It can be done with a sense of synergy and community, not everything is about being competitive," said Dawson.

Businesses with Heart will continue as an annual event hosted by the Cause Marketing Chamber of Commerce. They will benefit a different nonprofit with each event and provide space, free-of-charge, to several other nonprofit organizations to help spread awareness.
