Below are 3 of the key products to be exhibited.
1. Uniforms and equipment with XPAND Code
The actual uniforms with XPAND Code used by Japan's strong curling team "Ignites Nagano" will be exhibited.
There will also be a demonstration of this new service "XPAND Smart Sponsorship" that converts uniforms into a tool for transmitting information.
2. Connected table tennis table with XPAND Code (sample exhibition)
A sample of a table tennis table with XPAND Code made in partnership with "Nittaku (Nippon Takkyu)," a world-class table tennis equipment manufacturer, will be exhibited.
The XPAND Code can be read not just from the actual table but also from the TV broadcast, enhancing the ability of table tennis tables to transmit information.
3. Model stadium to experience indoor navigation and long-distance reading
There will be a model stadium with XPAND Code. Reading the XPAND Code from the ribbon vision and video board in the model allows long-distance reading in the stadium to be experienced. Also, the indoor navigation system "XPAND Indoor Navi" that does not require GPS, WiFi, or BLE beacon technology allows guidance in the Tokyo Pavilion to be experienced.
Nanmoku, the Founder/CEO of XPAND K.K., commented, "ISPO is one of the largest sports exhibitions in the world and the best opportunity for people around the world who are involved in sports to know about XPAND Code.
As we are participating as a company representing Tokyo, we are expected to attract attention from many people involved in sports and be visited by renowned European sports companies.
There is potential for various sports to evolve into connected sports through XPAND Code. I look forward to discussing the future of sports with everybody."
