-- VM Aviation's Assicraft001 is a hybrid-electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) vehicle aimed at on-demand Urban Air Mobility. The Assicraft001 is hybrid-electric VTOL aircraft took place on Dec 01, 2019 at the Miami Airport, USA. Planes, trains, and automobiles. The three modes of transportation we've all used for the past hundred years. But, there's a new form of travel being added to that roster, the Air Taxi. Taking influence from other VTOL Aircraft (vertical take-off and landing), the Air Taxi is like your own personal, electric helicopter. And they should be here within five years.
We're talking about creating an entirely new air traffic infrastructure, from designating landing ports to designing airways.
We are introducing ASSICRAFT 001 for the VOTL, Airtaxi to overcome the Traffic and pollution problem.
The Assicraft001 has four (4) large ducted fans for vertical and forward flight, two (2) on each side of the fuselage, with a main high wing 8 ft (2.4 m) with a high rear stabilizer. The middle set of rotors are located on the ends of the main wing and the fans pitch from vertical to horizontal allowing vectored and forward thrust. Landing skids contain small wheels. While the assicraft001 includes two different versions, one that holds one passenger and a pilot, and one that holds six passengers, the current version shows a "4+1" configuration for a pilot and four passengers. Top speed will be 155 kt (288 km/h) with a range of 130 nm (241 km). It has a gross weight of 6,000 lb (2,720 kg) and will fit in a 40 ft x 40 ft (12.2 m square) footprint.
