Call For Participation In Nigeria Stem Expo & Exhibitions 2020

ABUJA, Nigeria - Jan. 13, 2020 - PRLog -- What is Nigeria STEM Expo & Exhibition?

Nigeria STEM Expo and Exhibition is a nation-building platform designed to engage students, teachers, parents and both primary and secondary schools with using Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to solve United Nation sustainable development goals(SDG) and showcase their research and solution at the exhibition, thereby stimulating their interest in the application of technology and STEM-focused pathway.

Goals and Objectives

To drive the effective implementation of STEM education in Nigeria and Africa
To be a vehicle to drive STEM policy in Nigeria and across Africa countries

To bring creativity, innovation to Africa classroom.

To raise a generation of scientific consciousness of the nation to achieve the desired technological advancement and take a lead in the new emerging economy.

Bringing the classroom to the full implementation of STEM.

We are encouraging Nigeria School students to demonstrate their innovation and showcase their scientific talents. Nigeria STEM Expo & Exhibition is modelled after the British Telecom Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) in Ireland and STEM Expo in the USA. We are popularizing STEM among young students and encourage them to develop projects along  SDG( Sustainable Development Goals) that seek practical solutions to everyday problems. We designed participation into four categories namely

1.  Technology & SDGs

2.  Behavioural, Social Science & SDGs

3.  Ecological, Biological Science & SDGs

4.  Physical, Chemistry, Mathematical Science & SDGs

We have created an award in four Categories for Participants in Nigeria STEM Expo and Exhibition 2019. These awards are targeted as a drive to increase our commitment to achieving vision 2030 and bringing sustainable developments goals (SDG) into Africa classroom.

We need to give Nigeria child the opportunity to develop their skills and adopt STEM as a discipline and as effort gear toward nation-building and also contributing to achieving a sustainable society through achieving United Nation 17 SDGs.
