Dr. Christopher Tay Honored with the "Top 100 Healthcare Leaders" Award at IFAH Dubai, 2019

DUBAI, UAE - Jan. 13, 2020 - PRLog -- CEO of APSN (Association for Persons with Special Needs) Singapore, Dr. Christopher Tay was conferred with the "Top 100 Healthcare Leaders" award for his contributions to the healthcare industry at IFAH - International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare (formerly known as the Smart Health Conference). The international conference was held at Le Meridien, Dubai on December 16-18, 2019.

Dr. Tay is a veteran in the healthcare industry and is proficient in the areas of hospital management, operations, P/L and turnaround strategies. He joined APSN in 2017 and is currently serving as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Prior to the appointment, he was the Global Head Medical Services & Life Sciences of the Cyrus Global Group.

He began his career as an officer in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and quickly rose to senior ranks and various key and strategic appointments before retiring early to further his career in the private sector. Dr. has also served in Jackson Pharmaceutical Company, Richland Group, NTUC Healthcare Cooperative, Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), BRF Holidays Travel, Bintan Resort Ferries, SembCorp-Salim Venture and co-founded Sensori Holdings.

Dr. Tay said in an interview, "It is really an honor to be awarded this prestigious award. I am very glad and I hope to bring this honor back to Singapore. I am pleasantly surprised by the different speakers from different countries [at IFAH] and I learned a lot."

The "Top 100 Healthcare Leaders" is a recognition conceptualized by IFAH to felicitate individuals for ideating innovations in healthcare. A subsidiary of Prism Events, IFAH aims to set a standard of excellence in the realm of healthcare services and delivery by honoring the brightest leaders and organizations from all around the world. With the three-day conference coming to a successful end, IFAH is planning to organize biannual conferences with the hope to further establish its presence in Asia-Pacific and MENA nations.
