LONG BEACH, Calif. - Jan. 13, 2020 - PRLog -- Sharifah Hardie, a formidable Long Beach City Council District 6 Candidate in the March 3, 2020 Primary Election, lays out an ambitious Economic Empowerment Agenda (EEA) for the City of Long Beach.

Hardie's economic agenda provides business owners access to mentorship, operating capital and resources to help their business to compete and grow. Hardie, who has personally helped raise millions of dollars of operating capital for business owners, also emphasized that there are numerous resources available to business owners they might not be aware of.

"The Economic Empowerment Agenda is not just for District 6 or just for Long Beach. This is a global economic initiative to eradicate homelessness, end hunger and improve our over-all quality of life" said Hardie. The ongoing agenda, she explained, is designed to equip business owners with current value-added global best practices that will help them reposition their businesses for success.

Speaking over the weekend during an EEA round-table dialogue with entrepreneurs, the business consultant also known as Ask Sharifah said once elected her administration "will create jobs by continuing to empower the Small Scale Medium Enterprise (SSMEs)." Hardie believes Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are the engine room for the rapid growth of the economy, due to their closeness and importance to the day-to-day existence of the people.

"The city really wants a change. With so much wealth around us, there is absolutely no reason for District 6 to be an impoverished district. I am confident that by meeting with local business owners we will be able to move forward an economic agenda that is really going to bring a lot of good to our city," Hardie said.
