San Joaquin Valley College Announces New Campus in Santa Maria
New campus will serve northern Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County
The SJVC campus in Santa Maria will begin enrolling students in December and will provide a career-focused curriculum for several technical and industrial trades programs including:
· Clinical Medical Assisting
· Medical Office Administration
· Pharmacy Technician
· Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC-R)
· Business Office Administration
"Following the success of our new SJVC Atascadero campus in San Luis Obispo County, we are pleased to serve another growing community in California's central coast and provide more students with practical, career-focused education programs," said President of SJVC, Nick Gomez. Founded in 1977 by Robert and Shirley Perry in response to a growing need for professional instruction of local medical assistants in the San Joaquin Valley, SJVC is a second-generation, family-operated college that has 17 campuses throughout California.
The new SJVC Santa Maria campus will serve students in northern Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County, providing the training and skills that matter most to today's employers.
