Vm Aviation Limited Submitting Bid For Jet Airways

LONDON - Jan. 9, 2020 - PRLog -- VM AVAITION LIMITED had submitted an expression of interest (EoI) earlier too, but the lenders had decided to go for a fresh round of bidding. The VM Aviation Ltd had proposed to the Committee of Creditors to extend the deadline of submission of EoI to January 16th. According to reports, lenders to Jet Airways are now unwilling to extend the deadline to submit preliminary bids and would consider liquidation if bids were not received till the deadline.
While the airline became defunct in April, the creditor claims have now risen to Rs 30,558 crore. According to the revised data, the RP has accepted claims worth Rs 12,555 crore and rejected claims worth Rs 11,995 crore, with Rs 6,055 crore worth of claims being under verification. So far, Jet has received 18,596 claims, which include employees and also the chief executive officer, of which 13,911 claims have been admitted.

Financial creditors' claims worth Rs 8,272 crore have been admitted and Rs 1,747 crore worth of claims have been rejected, with more than Rs 200 crore worth of claims being verified.
