Site director Ali Ghaffar explained, "I designed this site because I grew weary of trying to find the best deals after Christmas for Boxing Day. I certainly did not want to fight crowds of people or spend time searching online more than necessary.  This is why I came up with Deal Boy."

Deal Boy does not require memberships, a login or any personal information. The site links users to other sites on the Internet that feature the deals.
