Angel Tree 2019 BrIghtens Holiday Season for 6 Families!

HOUSTON - Jan. 2, 2020 - PRLog -- TLG Gives, the philanthropic arm of The Loken Group with Keller Williams, has recently concluded its 4^th annual Angel Tree project. With help from our 12 sponsors along with individual donors and fundraising efforts, TLG Gives was able to raise over $10,000 to help brighten the holiday season for 6 families in need.

"Angel tree is an amazing experience, because we get to tailor it each one of the families.", said Lance Loken, CEO of The Loken Group. "This makes it the most unique and impactful way for us to give back to the community, especially when we can help families in need."

The families chosen for this year's Angel Tree project came to us through team members, nearby churches, and a local counseling center. Each of these families dealt with unique situations – including childhood illness, domestic violence, unemployment due to disability, and tragic accidents.

In order to make their holiday season more joyous, our TLG Gives committee members delicately crafted shopping lists for each of the families. Using the raised funds, team members then delivered over 100 items to these families; including gifts, meals, and other necessities.

"Angel Tree is my absolute favorite part of the holidays," said Sydney Kempler, TLG Gives Coordinator. "I feel so fortunate to meet these families and see all their smiling faces when delivering gifts and meals."

TLG Gives accomplishes two main philanthropic outreach projects annually: Angel Tree in December
and Home Transformation in the summer, where we surprise one deserving family in need by transforming their home, giving them peace of mind and a comfortable home environment.
