Juan Rolando Ambassador of Chile to India, H.E. Hector Cueva Ambassador of Ecuador to India, H.E. Claudio Montero Ambassador of Costa Rica to India, and H.E. The North East Food Show 2019 has been the biggest food innovation exhibition in the region organized by the Government of Meghalaya and SIAL.  The event was organized at the Polo Grounds of Shilong with an array of products like turmeric punch, organic teas, spice mixes, pickles, local wines, fruits, vegetables, and several others on display.  FIFI members seemingly saw great capacity for two way trade and have done series of pre-aligned B2B meetings.

Mr. Manoj Dugar, Founder Director FIFI, while addressing the media said, "We would like to congratulate the Government of Meghalaya and entrepreneurs from the North- Eastern states.  We see this as a great platform to initiate trade ties and also work on the opportunities of making investments to create deeper inroads."

FIFI engagement at the trade show resulted in a session on regulatory compliance with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India;  introduction to SIAL innovation; round table with FIFI members, businesses and bureaucrats from North-East, diplomatic and non-diplomatic representatives, and political representatives.

Mr. Puneet Gupta, M.D L-Comps and Founder Director FIFI, stated, "The untapped niche product range reminds us of SIAL innovation segment of SIAL Paris and we as FIFI will be delighted with this association.
