Attorney Sharon Nahari was Appointed Co-Chairman of the Extradition and International Crimes Committee at the IBA

Attorney Sharon Nahari is mainly known as an attorney who specializes in criminal law and white-collar crimes. However, Nahari also specializes in extradition law and international crimes. Nahiri's law firm has branches in Europe, the US and Asia, and also collaborates with numerous other law firms around the world. Furthermore, Nahari was appointed Israel's representative of the Defence Extradition Lawyers' Forum (DELF). The Committee's work, like all IBA committees, is performed voluntarily.
Nahari recently attended a conference held by DELF in London. The Conference attendees discussed various extradition issues, such as the cancellation of Interpol arrest warrants, Red Notice alerts, the connection between politics and international extradition, and other items.
Increased Importance of Extradition Law
Extradition laws are based collaborations between countries, as it involves "invading" by a state to other countries' jurisdiction. In recent years, Israel has tightened and expanded its international relationships in the field of criminal law and signed many bilateral treaties for collaborations for fighting crime with various countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, Thailand, and others.
