BURBANK, Calif. - Dec. 19, 2019 - PRLog -- The Eisner Foundation has awarded EngAGE, Inc., $300,000 over two years in program support to improve the quality of life and learning for more than 800 children and 800 low-income seniors through intergenerational arts education and mentoring collaborations between affordable senior housing residents and schools in Southern California.

The Eisner Foundation grant represents the foundation's continuing commitment to meaningfully uniting generations in the Los Angeles area and beyond.

In response to the generous grant, EngAGE CEO/Founder Tim Carpenter commented, "We would like to thank the Eisner Foundation for their continued support for our intergenerational programs and look forward to two more years of our successful partnership together."

The Eisner Foundation identifies, advocates for, and invests in high-quality and innovative programs that unite multiple generations for the enrichment of our communities.

EngAGE is a nonprofit that takes a whole-person approach to community and creative, healthy aging by providing arts, wellness, lifelong learning, community building and intergenerational programs to thousands of seniors and families living in affordable senior and multi-generational apartment communities in California, Oregon, and Minnesota.
