Glenn Heights Seasons of Service

GLENN HEIGHTS, Texas - Dec. 18, 2019 - PRLog -- The City of Glenn Heights Office of Community Engagement, Glenn Heights Police Department and Glenn Heights Fire Department have joined forces to bring holiday cheer to residents throughout the holiday season offering programs that include the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, Public Safety Santa neighborhood rides, Santa Cop Toy Drive, and Police Department package acceptance program.

Nominate a Neighbor- The Holidays are right around the corner, but someone might still be in need! Please nominate a neighbor to receive a free turkey through the Desoto Food Bank. Nominations will be accepted through Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Register for a Thanksgiving Basket below!

Glenn Heights Police Department – Operation Front Porch: Package Acceptance
Led by the GHPD accepting holiday packages to alleviate gift theft, the 2019 Seasons of Service will continue Tuesday, December, with the Christmas Tree Lighting at Heritage Community park (400 E. Bear Creek Rd).

Public Safety Santa Neighborhood rides
The City of Glenn Heights Public Safety Departments is proud to announce that Santa Claus will be visiting and making his rounds through the City of Glenn Heights neighborhoods starting on Saturday, December 14, 2019, and Saturday, December 21, 2019. Public Safety Santa will ride throughout every neighborhood within the City and take pictures with the young and young-at-heart every Saturday leading up to Christmas.

Date: Saturday, December 14, 2019
Time: 12 noon to 1pm
Location: We will start at the fire station (1938 S. Hampton, Glenn Heights, TX. 75154) and will go through all the Dallas County neighborhoods ending at Kingston Meadows Pool House for pictures with Santa.

ELLIS COUNTY
Date: Saturday, December 21, 2019
Time: 12 noon to 1 pm
Location: We will start at the fire station (1938 S. Hampton, Glenn Heights, TX. 75154) and will go through all the Ellis County neighborhoods ending at Magnolia Farms Pool House for pictures with Santa.
