BOSTON - Dec. 17, 2019 - PRLog -- Leading Women today announced that Susan Colantuono, the company's founder and CEO, will retire effective December 31, 2019. Kelly Lockwood Primus, currently President & COO, will become CEO & President as the company embarks on a new decade of shaping the future of workplace dynamics by advocating women's advancement, and engaging male allies to bring gender balance to leadership.

Colantuono founded Leading Women in 2003, and is internationally known as an expert in women's leadership development, gender dynamics, and hidden gender bias around the globe. She is also the acclaimed author of No Ceiling, No Walls: What Women Haven't Been Told About Leadership, and Make the Most of Mentoring.

Primus, a senior level executive from the consumer products industry, has been with Leading Women since 2013 and has positioned the company for future growth with the recent launch of Leading Women's Conference Services Division, and the expansion of the organization's programming for Diversity and Inclusion—beyond gender.

In support of Leading Women's continued growth, two new staff recently joined the team—
Erin Defoyd, Director of Strategic Client Solutions and Diane Chaput, VP Communications & Engagement. Defoyd joins Leading Women after a successful career at Mercer as Engagement leader in their "When Women Thrive" practice, and will be working to support clients in identifying the best solutions to help them reach their gender diversity goals. Chaput, a former EVP at Kel & Partners, will take the lead in managing Leading Women's conference services efforts, as well as all speaking engagement arrangements.
