RESOLUTIONS 2020 at the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. - Dec. 16, 2019 - PRLog -- Showcasing the work of many talented artists from across North Carolina, RESOLUTIONS 2020, runs from January 6^th to January 26^th. Following on the success of the juried shows of the previous five years, HGA held its open call to artists for RESOLUTIONS 2020 this fall.  More than 90 2D and 3D artists from throughout the state entered works in a wide variety of media. The annual RESOLUTIONS shows are among a very few art exhibits dedicated specifically to North Carolina artists. All works in the show are for sale.

Guest juror for awards for RESOLUTIONS 2020 will be Katie Ziglar, Director of the Ackland Art Museum at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Ms. Ziglar is an alumna of UNC, where she was a Morehead Scholar.  She holds a masters' degree in Islamic art and architecture from the American University in Cairo.

An Opening Reception and Juror's Talk will be held on Friday, January 10^th, from 6-9 pm.
