LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Dec. 12, 2019 - PRLog -- As families select the perfect live Christmas tree, strap it to the roof of their car and find the perfect spot for it in their home, they may not want to think about what will happen to it AFTER the holidays. A long-standing tradition in Gwinnett County, Bring One for the Chipper presents an opportunity for individuals, couples, roommates and families to carry a little bit of that Christmas magic into 2020 by breathing new life into their tree. Starting December 26, Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful will be asking residents to drop off their live Christmas trees at local fire stations for collection. Those trees will then be transported to Bethesda Park in Lawrenceville for the big day on January 25, 2020 for the annual Bring One for the Chipper event on January 25, 2020.

The following locations will accept live Christmas trees between 12/26/19 and 1/20/20. Trees must be free of lights, tinsel, decorations and tree stands to be treecycled.
