Queue President Juana G. Quick Receives The John Thomason Award Recognizing Marketing Excellence

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Dec. 11, 2019 - PRLog -- Juana G. Quick , president of queue, a Columbia, SC and Raleigh NC-based marketing communications agency, is the recipient of the 2019 John. L. Thomason Award recognizing outstanding marketing and communications professionals who are also leaders in their community. The Thomason Award is the highest honor presented by the Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society (CHPRMS), the North and South Carolina organization representing healthcare marketing professionals from across the two states. Quick is the president of queue, llc., a marketing and communications agency she founded in 2011.

"I'm tremendously flattered to be recognized by my peers and fellow marketing communications professionals with this prestigious honor," said Quick. "I've thoroughly enjoyed working with our healthcare clients to establish and execute winning marketing strategies for the past 25+ years; it's truly humbling to be recognized for those efforts with this special award."

Quick has helped numerous organizations that work to better meet the healthcare needs of the community. She is a past board member of the Palmetto Health Children's Hospital Foundation and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Free Clinic Association. She has served as a Red Dress Ambassador for the State of South Carolina, and in 2018 she founded a woman-owned business group of leaders in Columbia called Women on the Move whose mission is to foster, mentor and encourage women into exploring entrepreneurship. Quick has also served as president of the Virginia Society of Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations (VSHMPR), past president and board member of the Midlands Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), past board member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of the Midlands and as a past Board member of CREW in Atlanta, an organization that supports the advancement of women in commercial real estate. She also served as a Board Member of the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
