ALICANTE, Spain - Dec. 11, 2019 - PRLog -- This international prize is awarded to the design of the temporary exhibition "Rupestre. The first Sanctuaries" of the also widely awarded and recognized archaeological museum of our province, the Marq, designed by the architect of the Diputación Rafael Pérez Jiménez, and the architect Ángel Luis Rocamora Ruiz, the exhibition received more than 85,000 visitors.

The jury's declaration emphasizes the originality and complexity of the design of the  polygonal roof structure, in the form of an atmospherically illuminated cave, which gives the exhibition a special atmosphere. An exhibition so fascinating and magical that it         transports the visitor to the past and gives him emotional and intellectual access to the first works of art in human history.

The architectural project of the exhibition, has as protagonists the paintings that were        painted in the rock more than 10.000 years ago. It is a museographic project that spans   three exhibition halls in the museum and together invite visitors to a journey through time. The aim of this exhibition is to highlight these cave paintings and explain their origin, interpretation and context, with the peculiarity of not having tangible objects.

Through this contest, the German Ministry of Economy and Technology recognizes and    extols products, projects, manufacturers and designers from all corners of the world.
