Heart of Hospice- Jackson Helps Grant Veterans' Wishes This Holiday Season

JACKSON, Miss. - Dec. 9, 2019 - PRLog -- Heart of Hospice – Jackson announced a partnership initiative with the Veteran's Association to fulfill Veteran's wishes this holiday season.

The Veteran's Association teamed up with local organizations to grant the wishes of Veterans across the state of Mississippi this holiday season through donations and community outreach. Heart of Hospice was assigned the wishes of 28 Veterans in need and is seeking support to ensure that each wish is actualized.

The items needed for the Veteran gift drive include: cleaning supplies (i.e. mop, bucket, broom, dustpan), men's thermal wear (sizes large/xlarge/xxlarge), men's sweat suits (sizes large/xlarge/xxlarge), women's sweat suits (sizes medium/large/xlarge), women's tops for cold weather (sizes small/medium), women's pants (size 6 or medium), women's tennis shoes (size 8.5), men's tennis shoes (sizes 11/11.5/13), household items (I.e. dishes, dish towels, Tupperware etc.), Walmart/Kroger gift certificates, men's and women's socks, men's and women's gloves, men's digital watch, men's briefs (sizes large/xlarge), and a donated Christmas dinner for a family of eight.

Anyone who would like to help by contributing an item from the list below can bring the donation to Heart of Hospice at 1675 Lakeland Drive (Suite 407), Jackson, Mississippi 39216. All items donated will be displayed on a "Hero Tree" in the office's lobby. Individuals who would like to contribute, but are unable to stop by the office, may call (662) 350-0830 for assistance. The deadline to donate is December 18.
