BANGKOK - Dec. 9, 2019 - PRLog -- Held in Thailand – Asia's largest cassava hub, Commoditia outlines supply challenges of cassava supply chain up to 2025, impact of drought, cassava mosaic disease (CMD) as well as regional corn availability and crop prices. It is followed by CIAT's (International Center for Tropical Agriculture) update on Cassava Mosaic Disease, extent of damage and how the industry is tackling it.

A Panel Discussion on 'Changing dynamics of Thai root market and implications for starch and chip producers' leads with Thai Tapioca Starch Association's presentation on Thai cassava market, and open discussions with panelists from Agro Asia Pacific Co. and Commoditia.

The annual meet concludes with workshop on 'Starch and Dietary Fibres' on 12 February and tour to Ajinomoto MSG Factory on 13 February.
