Bavarian Inn hosts Holiday Wine Dinner on Dec. 12
By: Bavarian Inn
With a special menu designed and prepared by Silver Plate Award Winner Chef Phil Fahrenbruch, this five-course dinner features classic dishes from Mexico and Southeast Asia, along with wine pairings from Trinchero Family Estates.
For over 70 years the Trinchero family has produced some of California's finest wines, from the world's first-ever White Zinfandel to other much sought-after wines from Napa vineyards. Today the Trinchero portfolio includes more than 50 global wine and spirit brands. Guest speaker Jody Holding will share information about each wine on the menu during the evening.
The festive holiday menu begins with Avocado Toast with Persimmons, Pomegranates and Fennel, accompanied by a Charles & Charles Riesling. This is followed by a Tostada De Lengua, served with a Seaglass Sauvignon Blanc. Also featured is Chicken Pho, a Vietnamese noodle dish, accompanied by a Seaglass Riesling.
Following a sorbet refresher will be the main course: Chicken Tikka Masala, a classic curry spiced dish, served with a Ménage á Trois Cabernet Sauvignon.
To cap off the evening is a Hazelnut Torta dessert with Coquito, accompanied by a Ménage á Trois Moscato.
The price for this special "Holiday Wine Dinner" event is $65 per person, which includes all food and listed wines, tax, and gratuity. Reservations and prepayment are required.
