Flagler Chamber of Commerce Announces New President/CEO

PALM COAST, Fla. - Dec. 4, 2019 - PRLog -- The Flagler Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce that  Aimee Stafford has been named the new President & CEO of the Flagler Chamber of Commerce. Aimee joins the Chamber following a 17-year career with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce where she held the position of Director of Public Relations between 2002-2005, and most recently as Senior Vice President, Administration from 2005-2019.

In her role as Vice President, Administration, Aimee was responsible for the daily operations of the state's foremost business advocacy association, a $10 million organization with a staff of 40 and a board of more than 60 individuals. In this position, Aimee also worked as the Chief of Staff to the CEO overseeing their not-for-profit 501(c)6 and 501(c)3 as well as being responsible for the revenue divisions of the Chamber. She also had the responsibility for the divisional budget, all strategic plans and annual business plan. Aimee also oversaw all hiring, human resources and management of the employee benefits program for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

Additional responsibilities included managing the foundation administration for national, state public and private grants. She also managed a $2 million capital campaign and the construction project for the Kentucky Chamber's renovation.

Prior to joining the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Aimee held roles with Meridian Communications between 2000-2002; Host Communications from 1996-1999 and The University of Kentucky Medical Center from 1992-1996. Aimee is a graduate of The University of Kentucky with a B. A. in Communications. She also completed a 4-year certification program with the U. S. Chamber of Commerce between 2013-2017.

Highlight's of Aimee's career include being named a "Top 40 Under 40" by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, as well as guiding the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce to being named Chamber of Commerce of the year by the U. S. Chamber of Commerce in 2017.

Aimee assumes her new role as President & CEO of the Flagler Chamber of Commerce beginning December 5th replacing Jorge Gutierrez, who resigned in September.
