TikTok Kids Are Showing More Interest In Trade School VS College

Popular social media apps like TikTok allow people to share their ideas with the world and some trends have been developing. Many high school students and college students are sharing their insights on the cost of education vs the return. And the "traditional 4-year college" is taking a beating.

Ford also mentioned that the comments on his video were eye-opening. Many youngsters seemed to hate the idea of going into debt for a "traditional education." And trade school graduates were boasting high salaries and advising others to attend trade school as well. Many of the other comments were from high school kids saying things like "I wish my parents would let me go to trade school" or "I need to show this to my parents, college isn't the only way!"

But it's not only the TikTok gang that's starting to revolt against the high cost and low return on college. Many millennials are switching their careers through trade schools and skill-specific education like coding schools.
