Riviera Beach CRA Honored for Best Cultural Enhancement at 2019 Florida Redevelopment Assn. Awards

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - Nov. 19, 2019 - PRLog -- In its continuing multifaceted effort to help usher the dramatic transformation of Riviera Beach, the Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) beautification project "Art Infusion" has been awarded a prestigious honor by the Florida Redevelopment Association (FRA). The CRA received the Cultural Enhancement Citation at the 2019 FRA Annual Conference in Tampa, Florida.

"Art Infusion," is a series of large, striking outdoor wall murals located at key points throughout the CRA District. Riviera Beach Marina Village, for example, is home to a prominent water tank painted to mimic an aquarium that showcases the area's diverse aquatic life including sea turtles, manatees, crabs, lobsters, starfish, stingrays and tropical fish.

The Florida Redevelopment Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting Florida professionals and volunteers in community revitalization efforts. With its mission of "transforming spaces, revitalizing places," the FRA is committed to providing a forum for its more than 300 members to share knowledge and common experiences regarding revitalization opportunities and issues throughout Florida.
