Aside from success in the real estate space, this award and recognition are also due to the brokerage's empowerment of its agents to remain active in the community through partnership programs with organizations such as Alzheimer's Walk, Concerts in the Park in Point Loma and Coronado, and their experience with military relocation services.
"We know that our agents and teams are working everyday to build our communities through philanthropic outreach, but to be recognized by such a prestigious organization is very humbling," said Andrew Nelson, president and CEO at Willis Allen Real Estate. "It is our goal to see that not only our clients are happy with our work, but also that our communities thrive as a result of our work."
Andrew Nelson was the Chairman of the fundraising effort for the Conrad Prebys Cardiovascular Institute at Scripps Health, where he helped raise $120 million for construction of the new hospital. Earlier this month, Christine Baker, an agent based out of the Willis Allen Real Estate Coronado office, was featured on KUSI News talking about her work as president of Friends of Downtown, an organization recognized for awarding scholarships to eligible students at San Diego City College.
The NSDCAR Awards & Installation event was held on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Hilton San Diego Del Mar. The event recognized brokerages, agents, affiliates, friends of the industry and the Realtor of the Year for NSDCAR.
