WipFly to offer last-mile bot delivery service

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nov. 17, 2019 - PRLog -- Security First International Holdings, Inc. a technology incubator and accelerator to offer unmanned ground vehicle delivery service through a subscription model to WipFly Internet of Things (IoT) platform. Businesses looking to increase efficiency in last mile delivery can subscribe to the WipFly IoT platform and request a last-mile bot delivery without owning any autonomous vehicle infrastructure.

The market for delivery robots is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 19.15% over the next five years, reaching $34 billion by 2024, according to a Market and Markets report. Driving the market is a cost reduction of last-mile deliveries, from $1.60 per delivery via human drivers, down to $0.06 per delivery through autonomous robots, the company said.

WipFly is an Internet of Things (IoT) platform for operating unmanned vehicles over the web using 4G LTE and GPS for autonomous and semi-autonomous navigation.

Pricing will be based on data utilization over the 4G LTE network from pickup to delivery.

Security First International Holdings, Inc. anticipates a full service roll out second quarter of 2020.
