Does Your Environmental Phase 1 Assessment Properly Identify Contamination Risk ?

At one time New Jersey had over 20,000 Known Contaminated Sites. Were these sites properly cleaned up or did the environmental contractor just go through the motions to fool the NJDEP.

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. - Nov. 15, 2019 - PRLog -- In the last 10 years the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection introduced new remediation laws under Site Remediation Reform Act SRRA and these laws were reacted as  SRRA 2.0 in 2019.  These laws were meant to streamline the commercial and residential remediation process.  However some sites were given Remedial Outcome Letters(RAO) by Licensed Site Remediation Professionals. Most of the time the sites were cleaned up properly other times, sites with uncontrolled ground water contamination were issued a letter with contamination over the NJDEP's soil and ground water standards were left on site. In some cases environmental consultants rely on RAO letters without further investigation. Environmental Systems performs Environmental Phase I and Environmental Phase II Assessments. Environmental  Systems professionals do not take anything regarding the site for granted. All Environmental Systems Phase 1 meet the or exceed ASTM standards for Site Assessments.
