Children's Hunger Fund and Alpine Swiss deliver 3.6 million meals to children in need

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 12, 2019 - PRLog -- Children's Hunger Fund (CHF) and Alpine Swiss, the Southern California retailer of clothing, footwear, and accessories, announce that they have delivered 3.6 million meals to children around the world since 2014.

Alpine Swiss has partnered with Children's Hunger Fund since 2011. Each year, donations from Alpine Swiss significantly add to the total number of meals CHF provides to children. Their generous donations represented 250 meals per day by 2014, with that number increasing to 2,500 meals per day in 2016.

In addition to financial donations, Alpine Swiss has been very generous to CHF, donating products, as well as volunteering their time to pack Food Pak boxes at the Sylmar Distribution Center. With the help of partnerships like Alpine Swiss, Children's Hunger Fund seeks to deliver hope to suffering children around the world.

Children's Hunger Fund often delivers meals in the form of Food Paks – boxes of up to 20 pounds of nutritious food, which are packed by volunteers in CHF's three US distribution centers. Food Paks and other forms of food and aid are delivered directly to the homes of families in need by CHF partner churches that make up Mercy Networks. This home-delivery method allows relationships to develop, and long-term aid to be shared.

Children's Hunger Fund delivers meals in this way to families across the US, as well as in 24 other countries. Currently, Children's Hunger Fund distribution centers are located in Los Angeles, San Antonio, and Dallas.
