99math is a European startup company, co-founded by Tõnis Kusmin and Timo Timmi in 2018. 99math's mission is to make learning math engaging for students. Specifically, by adopting teambuilding and socializing methodology that is mostly used in sports. Tõnis and Timo believe that learning motivation forms as a byproduct of adrenaline splash that happens during a competition. Positivity is also a key element of motivation, that is why playing games in class is the most engaging approach to teaching.

The 99math platform is now a classroom game for strengthening mental math skills and training the working memory. The eSports approach to math game development has led 99math to hosting Math Game Days internationally. These games are live and accessible to other teachers, parents and classmates to root for their teams. All players receive digital certificates and see their names in the live international leaderboard. The next Math Game Day event (http://mathgameday.com/us/math-game-day-us/) is taking place in December 2019.
