Heat Holders® charity donations exceed expectations with The Making Life Warmer Project

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 7, 2019 - PRLog -- The beloved winterwear company Heat Holders® continues to Make Life Warmer for all walks of life, having donated over 15,000 pairs of specialty socks to charities nationwide. The donation exceeds the company's 2018 charity by over 2,000 pairs!

The charities receiving Heat Holders® donations aim to help all those who need it. Socks are often the most requested and least donated items for homeless people and Heat Holders® being the makers of the warmest thermal sock, are in a unique position to help.  The Heat Holders® team feels fortunate to be able to contribute to the community and provide its premium product line to those who are otherwise unable to access winterwear.

The 15,000 donated pairs were distributed among numerous separate charities and organizations— from major ones like Direct Relief International, CHV Vancouver and Socks4Souls to small shelters and initiatives like Rosie's Place, Friends of Boston's Homeless and River of Life Church among others. The charities were selected based on the demand for aid in their communities, ensuring each pair of Heat Holders® finds a purpose, and a heart to warm.

Our charity partners distribute donations in particularly cold cities, including Cleveland, New York, Toronto, and Boston. Heat Holders® sends the very same product they make for their customers to its charity partners, ensuring that people are able to remain warm and safe during the cold winter months. The thermal yarn provides high-performance insulation against the cold and holds superior moisture breathing abilities for long and cold nights outside, affording protection equal to 7x warmer than regular cotton socks!

With these efforts, Heat Holders® has made a significant difference to thousands of homeless people nationwide to date. Our company was established in 1947 in England. At that time the company used to trade yarn. The last few decades our company has been manufacturing, importing and distributing socks. We established our North American office in 2010 and ship domestically from within USA. Heat Holders® were developed by our talented product development team in house.
