The DiSTI Corporation Announces the Release of GL Studio 7.0

ORLANDO, Fla. - Nov. 6, 2019 - PRLog -- The DiSTI Corporation announces the release of GL Studio 7.0. Companies across a myriad of industries have adapted GL Studio for use in the development of avionic systems, automobile instrument clusters, in-vehicle infotainment, and head-up-displays. The latest version of GL Studio offers significant workflow improvements, enabling customers to get their products to market faster with less rework. This latest release streamlines the User Experience (UX) in the editor and provides a drag and drop library of customizable widgets called the User Interface (UI) Widget Pack.

The UI Widget Pack enables users to create form-style applications with the use of nineteen new pre-created widgets, including a combo box, progress bar, ribbon, nested folder trees, and more. Each widget is highly customizable and comes with complete source code.  Users obtain full control in working with desktop applications and production-quality embedded targets. All of the new widgets are designed for desktop, standard embedded, safety-critical deployments.

Additional key UX Enhancements of the 7.0 release:

• Objects Property Table - the interaction and visuals of the table are more comfortable to use with new simple and advanced modes.  Simple mode shows the most commonly used properties and reduces clutter, while the advanced mode shows all properties at the check of a box.

• Text Updates - users have a much faster user experience in creating and managing text, can easily convert to different text types, including ligatures and complex text objects.

• Object Scaling - the user's experience for managing all object types is vastly enhanced. Users can type in specific height and width of objects to change the scale or use new fixed scaling with handlebars.

• GL Studio Editor - the editor, has been re-skinned to improve visual contrast, spacing, iconography, and groupings.  These free up the user's attention to important items and produces more efficient object creation and development efforts.
