2020 Inside Baseball Coaches Clinic Features ENSWORTH HIGH SCHOOL, Head Coach Jason Maxwell

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - Nov. 4, 2019 - PRLog -- The 5th annual Inside Baseball Coaches Clinic will be held on January 9th-11th, 2020 at The Hyatt Regency, New Brunswick. The 3-day event will feature lessons from some of the Country's best coaches, including Jason Maxwell of Ensworth High School. This clinic also features coaches from Rutgers, Carson-Newman University, the University of South Florida, Davidson College, the University of Iowa, Arkansas, Auburn, Tennessee, Washington Nationals, and the University of Miami. The experts at Baseball America have called our coaches "some of the brightest minds in the game today." There will be over 54 powerful and insightful talks from 14 of the best coaches covering everything you need to take your game to the next level!

Coach Maxwell has been the Head Baseball Coach at Ensworth High School for fourteen years. Before coming to Ensworth, Coach Maxwell attended Middle Tennessee State University where he was an all-Conference player for the Blue Raiders baseball team in 1992 & 1993. The Chicago Cubs drafted Coach Maxwell in 1993. He went on to play professionally for 12 years, reaching the major leagues with the Cubs and the Minnesota Twins.

In addition to coaching at Ensworth, Coach Maxwell has served on the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association (TBCA). He has also sat on the American Baseball Coaches Association Diversity in Baseball Committee and served as a coach for the TBCA Showcase Classic and USA Baseball teams. As Assistant Coach for the 2016 USA 15U National Team, the team won Bronze in the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) World Championship in Japan. As the manager for the 2018 USA Baseball 15U National Team, he also won a Gold Medal and the WBSC World Championship in Panama. As a result of this achievement, he was named the 2018 USA Baseball Developmental Coach of the Year. Having coached for 14 years in a high school setting after playing in the big league makes Maxwell a perfect outlet for all baseball knowledge.
