Michigan on Main Hosts Fun Brews and Beards Night

FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - Nov. 1, 2019 - PRLog -- Time to get your groom on and head to the Bavarian Inn Restaurant's Michigan on Main Bar and Grill (http://www.bavarianinn.com/dine/michigan-on-main) on Thursday, Nov. 7 for a night of craft beer tasting paired with a crazy fun beard contest.

The "Brews and Beards" evening is the first of its kind in Frankenmuth, bringing together delicious beers and beards, all to benefit the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Together with Detroit Grooming Company (https://detroitgrooming.com/) and Beards Brewery (https://www.beardsbrewery.com/), the Michigan on Main Bar and Grill, inside the Bavarian Inn Restaurant, will pair four outstanding Michigan microbrews with four fun beard contests. The fun begins at 5 p.m. and each of the contest winners will receive Detroit Grooming products, swag, and more.

The featured brews for sampling that evening are Deez Nutz, a smooth nutty brown ale; Luna, a wheat saison-style ale; Owlmadillo, an American IPA; and Serendipity, a smooth chocolatey cherry porter.

Each brew will be paired with a different beard contest – Deez Nutz with the Grizzliest Beard, Luna with the Best Trimmed Beard, Owlmadillo with the Longest Beard, and Serendipity with the Most Unique Beard.

While enjoying the brews, participants can also enjoy all of Michigan on Main's great food items, from delightful appetizers to hearty entrees and more of purchase.

To enter, beard contestants will need to make a donation to help the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.

Michigan on Main Bar and Grill inside the Bavarian Inn Restaurant is a casual and contemporary dining space showcasing Michigan-sourced food along with Michigan craft-brewed beers, Michigan wines and specialty Michigan cocktails. Tuesdays are half-off appetizers from 5 p.m. to close. Wednesdays are Adult Happy Meal Nights; from 5 p.m. to close, enjoy a half-pound burger, fries and a Michigan craft beer on tap for $9.99. On Thursday nights, guests can enjoy Wings and Beer, featuring Buffalo wings at 35 cents each from 5 to 8 p.m. and $1 off Michigan craft beers from 5 p.m. to close.
