-- Logistic being 30% of the service cost, use to be a big hindrance to achieve our core agenda of providing laundry service at a minimal cost. When the idea of a moving collection point came up, since then this cart became the source of excitement for our team members. After a long discussion of 10-12 days finally,
we decided to invest in this strategy. Being a bootstrapping startup it was a fairly big risk for us, as till now, no other laundry service company has tried this kind of moving logistic cum advertisement strategy here in India. The designs were finalised according to our packaging sizes; a place for hanging clothes was also introduced within this cart.
We decided to launch our first cart from Noida, as this area is full of housings and a young crowd. The first cart was launched a few months back and we are happy to share the success of this strategy. The logistic cost got decreased by 60% for all orders picked up by this cart. In the first month, this cart gave us half the number of orders of maximum what it can take and soon when people living around got familiar with this cart, the second month it received more orders than our expectation.
