Original Orlando Tours Launches Walking Tours

ORLANDO, Fla. - Oct. 30, 2019 - PRLog -- Original Orlando Tours, Central Florida's leading provider of micro-tours, has announced that it will offer four distinct walking tours of the tree-lined hamlet of historical Winter Park, Florida. The tours commence in November 2019.

"We've been researching the viability of launching walking tours in Winter Park after several local business leaders approached us about branching into this product offering," explained Original Orlando Tours General Manager Sarah Bradley. "After a significant due diligence period, we determined that there are many fascinating tales and hidden gems to share with both locals and tourists, and that there is a strong demand for a credible local tour company like ours to deliver that guest experience".

Each of the tours has a distinctive theme which deliver themed insights into this world-famous Central Florida village, originally founded as a winter escape for wealthy northerners in the late 1800s. Since then, Winter Park has been an on-going mecca for celebrities and other Central Florida visitors alike, as well as many locals in the Orlando area.

"These were the natural four tours to start with," continued Ms. Bradley. "Winter Park is home to some of the most incredible restaurants in all of Florida, led by chefs who have brought their recipes from all over the world. That easily led us to a food tour. Then you have such a rich and fascinating history of the town that a day ("History") and night ("Ghosts") tour seemed like natural choice. Then we looked at how Fred and Joanne Rogers have left such an on-going legacy in this community that we really wanted to tell their story to the world, especially given the renewed interest in Fred's lifetime work with the new Tom Hanks biopic being released."
