Robert has over 30 years international business experience in the energy industry. The majority of his business career was spent with ExxonMobil, where he worked in a variety of commercial and business development leadership roles in Australia, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the USA.

Robert has had key roles in managing commercial teams negotiating complex multi-billion-dollar international transactions in challenging geo-political environments. Most recently he was Chief Executive Officer for a publicly listed energy company with interests in Australia and Cuba where he completed a number of significant commercial transactions. Robert is also a non-executive Director of a privately held finance company and holds a Bachelor of Economics from LaTrobe University, has completed an Advanced Leadership Program at Arizona's Thunderbird University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
