It's never too late to his the reset button

QUINCY, Ill. - Oct. 30, 2019 - PRLog -- Book One of the Lila Monroe Series

At 38, Lila finds herself teetering on the threshold of a new life. Free from her abusive husband, she is finally achieving financial security as her struggling business becomes profitable. Yet, even as she faces the bright future she had dreamt of for years, something is missing. Confused and lost in her own emotions, she decides to fly home for her 20 year high school reunion.

Once among familiar surroundings, she feels the full weight of her isolation. Can she mend fences with the family and friends that she cut off to preserve her dignity? Is it too late to find love? Why isn't she happy with what she already has? With well-meaning advice coming from all directions, Lila's future only grows more uncertain.

Feeling disconnected as she tries to reset her life against the backdrop of Pensacola's beautiful beaches and vistas, Lila's journey of self-discovery is an inspiration for all women who have ever asked themselves "Is this what I really want?"
