Greater Twin Cities Honda Dealers Donate $5,000 to Cherokee Heights Elementary
By: Greater Twin Cities Honda Dealers
"Each time we have donated on behalf of the [GTCHDA], we have felt the impact within our community. From Positive Behavior Interventions and Support lessons to school musicals, we've been touched by how our small donation has empowered local children," said Nick Burandt, general sales manager of Inver Grove Honda.
A $5,000 check will be presented in a check ceremony with Burandt; Ashley Toms, sales consultant at Inver Grove Honda; and Heidi Koury, principal of Cherokee Heights Elementary in attendance.
Cherokee Heights Elementary is a Montessori school where each child makes decisions about their learning based on their individual strengths, likes, and learning styles.
"Cherokee Heights allows children to work independently and allows the joy of self-discovery,"
The GTCHDA has donated to local schools as part of the "Life is Better Thanks to the Greater Twin Cities Honda Dealers" campaign since November 2017. This donation will bring the association's total to $89,400. To learn more about GTCHDA's community involvement, please visit the GTCHDA Facebook page and YouTube channel.
