| South Shore Chamber of Commerce announces Jill Donovan as Director of DevelopmentBy: South Shore Chamber of Commerce In this role Donovan oversees all South Shore Chamber fund development activities, focusing on establishing new relationships and building the financial support, impact and visibility of the Chamber's regional economic development plan to assure a robust South Shore economy in 2030 and beyond. Donovan brings more than 20 years of fundraising experience to her post with the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, most recently as Senior Director of Development with the South Shore YMCA. A graduate of the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Donovan received her Master of Science in Management from Lesley University. Originally from Hingham, Donovan now lives in Norwell with her husband Sean and their four children. For the past decade plus she has been the volunteer choreographer for productions at the Chapman Middle School in Weymouth and is a volunteer parent at Norwell Middle School theater productions. In her spare time, Donovan enjoys live theater, swimming, and watching her children on the soccer field, basketball and volleyball courts and performances on stage. "I have long recognized the South Shore Chamber of Commerce as a driving force behind initiatives that have contributed to vitality of the South Shore," said Donovan.
